JoJo photographed Yosemite National Park at age 11 and became absolutely captivated by a place of such wonder -- like he was in a pretend world! Experiencing the magic of Yosemite changed his life and inspired him to pursue photography.

In high school, JoJo was mentored in photography by Rick Behrmann, and in art by Julie Larsen. This unique opportunity allowed him to learn the fine and disciplined techniques of photography while exploring the timeless works of the great masters of art.

JoJo's inspiration comes through nature, music, beauty, excellence, Light, and The Creator.

JoJo Shaiken was born in Walnut Creek, California. Today, he travels the world photographing the eternal beauty of Creation.
